Why We Built This Site
Louisiana's public records law opens a great deal of warrant material to inspection, but the harder question is which office holds the piece a reader needs. A single warrant touches more than one desk. The issuing court sets the charge and the bail, while the sheriff's warrant unit serves the paper and can say whether the order is still open. A bench warrant from a missed date usually stays with the City Court, a mayor's court, or a justice court that set the case, and not with the parish at all. Louisiana keeps no statewide public warrant list that pulls those records together, so nothing collects them into one index. Check one office, find nothing, and it is easy to assume the matter is closed when it is not. This site gathers the contacts, request steps, and record details for each of those offices into one place.
What You Will Find Here

- Outstanding warrants: how to check for active warrants and where the published lists sit
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds the file
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served across Natchitoches Parish
- Resolving a warrant: the routes from a voluntary appearance to posting bond and a motion to recall
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Louisiana court, sheriff's office, or state agency. The limits on what we can do are real:
- We cannot run an official check or confirm that a warrant exists for any person
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant in any system
- We cannot post bond or take payment toward a warrant
- We cannot set a court date, arrange a surrender, or walk a case through a counter
- We cannot give legal advice or apply a warrant to your situation
- We cannot promise that every number, fee, or listing here is current today
Only the issuing court or the sheriff's warrant unit holding the order can confirm that a warrant exists and whether it was recalled. This site can point to the right office, and the answer has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages come from third-party providers. Those companies run their own services and set their own prices. If one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, and that revenue helps keep the pages free. Their results are not an official warrant check, and this site does not control what they charge or what they return.
